Plymouth and Cornwall Cancer Fund – Who We Are

History:
The charity was founded in 1972, initially to create what is now the Mount Edgecombe Hospice in East Cornwall – now an entirely separate entity. In the last 40 years the charity has evolved into the charity it has become today, supporting people with cancer under the care of Derriford Hospital.

Governance:

The PCCF Committee of Trustees meets quarterly and is composed of local people, bringing together experience from the NHS, the Law, Finance, Business and Fundraising.

Principal Officers:

  • Chairman – Sara Aspley
  • Vice Chairman – Sian Dennison
  • Treasurer – Jane Bewes
  • Honorary Secretary – Peter Harker
  • Administrative Secretary – Anne O’Connor
